Spectators: 7968 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) FK Grunnfjord's Jon Svendsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarle Betten in the 3rd minute of play. Jarle Betten took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jon Svendsen. Jon Svendsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the last second Raymond Frøland throw himself and got hold of the ball when Finn-Christian Steinnes in the 14thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jarle Betten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jon Svendsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes, Low Expectations's Daniel Haugo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jon Svendsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Low Expectations reached it. In the 20th minute, one of FK Grunnfjord:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Grunnfjord. Jon Svendsen came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Low Expectations's Patrik Odden. But to his dismay, Patrik Odden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Jarle Betten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jon Svendsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Snorre Dalby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håvard Torjussen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jon Svendsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Benjamin Dvergsdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Snorre Dalby in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Svendsen saved FK Grunnfjord from getting behind. Jon Svendsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Snorre Dalby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Snorre Dalby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Svendsen having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Low Expectations's Snorre Dalby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Svendsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Snorre Dalby in the 94th minute of play forced FK Grunnfjord's goalkeeper Jon Svendsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Low Expectations booed when FK Grunnfjord was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor-Andre Bjerkestrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Jon Svendsen managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Low Expectations's Jarle Betten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Low Expectations left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FK Grunnfjord.
