Spectators: 7985 (Terracing: 5990, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Snorre Dalby got the match started through his kick off. When Low Expectations's Snorre Dalby in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stangnes Youth Academy's goalie prevented a goal. Raymond Frøland was a little too slow when Hans Helle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Stian Sundstrøm came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Low Expectations's Jarle Betten. But to his dismay, Jarle Betten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Abraham Rykkje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Snorre Dalby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stian Sundstrøm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Stangnes Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Brage Bjørseth. In the 47th match minute, Stangnes Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amund Bue to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jarle Bettens short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Stian Sundstrøm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Snorre Dalby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 minutes, Tor Sollie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stangnes Youth Academy and the Low Expectations players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Rykkje in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raymond Frøland saved Low Expectations from getting behind. Abraham Rykkje sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute of the match, Jarle Betten got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stian Sundstrøm was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 75th minute, Birger Strømsnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raymond Frøland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Rykkje, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes Low Expectations got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Valvik. Low Expectations's Raymond Frøland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Helle in the 80th minute of play. If Hans Helle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Snorre Dalby fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Low Expectations's Snorre Dalby in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stangnes Youth Academy's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Stangnes Youth Academy getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Birger Strømsnes hit a great ball. Hans Helle struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Raymond Frøland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stangnes Youth Academy. Jarle Betten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Stian Sundstrøm skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Low Expectations players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
