The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Vardaberg BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Salberg came free, but Eskil Hoel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vardaberg BK's Eskil Hoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Salberg in the 23rd minute of play. Torgeir Fagervold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Hoel having to interfere. Tore-Andre Smeby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vardaberg BK's Marius Langhelle pulled a muscle in his leg after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cornelius Bendixen charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelius Bendixen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cornelius Bendixen kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Joachim Salberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eskil Hoel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eskil Hoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgeir Fagervold, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Torgeir Fagervold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Eskil Hoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Mahmood made a kick off. It was a well-played corner which Victor Mahmood managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 55th match minute, TRONDHEIM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tore-Andre Smeby to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, TRONDHEIM's Joachim Salberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eskil Hoel. Eskil Hoel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Torgeir Fagervold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Mahmood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
