In the 20th match minute, Riddervolds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertel Oppedal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Nordrum in the 23rd minute of play forced Riddervolds's goalkeeper Ask Simonsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Blodskudt getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Linus Nordrum hit a great ball. Linus Nordrum kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ask Simonsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Nordrum, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Sebastian Lyngstad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ask Simonsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Linus Nordrum made the kick off in the second half. Otto Svanberg kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, William Vu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riddervolds's supporters rose to their feet, but William Vu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frode Lyngås breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the game, Otto Svanberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blodskudt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riddervolds the free kick. In the 78th match minute, Blodskudt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Svanberg to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Lyngstad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ask Simonsen having to make a save. Georg Espeseth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Blodskudt got a freekick which was hit by Martin Sæthre. If Georg Espeseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Blodskudt supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Blodskudt would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
