After 3 played minutes Low Expectations got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Odden. Patrik Odden kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Erlend Slettebø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Frøland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jarle Betten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Runar Lund made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Jarle Betten sent off a good shot on target. Erlend Slettebø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Frøland having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Eilert Moss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Low Expectations's Emil Mellem got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Eilert Moss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Engelsviken's Torstein Horntvedt in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Low Expectations's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th minute Snorre Dalby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Runar Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Hammervold charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Hammervold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Engelsviken getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Martin Hammervold hit a great ball. Adrian Nordlien took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raymond Frøland. Raymond Frøland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Raymond Frøland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torstein Horntvedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Bernt Valvik made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Engelsviken's Adrian Nordlien. If Kjetil-André Grødem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Runar Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarle Betten, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Snorre Dalby in the 65th minute of play forced Engelsviken's goalkeeper Runar Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Jarle Betten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Runar Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Frøland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eilert Moss, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Engelsviken's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eilert Moss in the 76th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Raymond Frøland successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Erlend Slettebø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Raymond Frøland managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Engelsviken's Adrian Nordlien fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Low Expectations's goalkeeper Raymond Frøland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Engelsviken failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
