Thanks to some nice moves Tormod Bjørgo could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Pål Gamst however easily saved by the left post. Tormod Bjørgo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pål Gamst having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Sølvguttene's zone, William Bekkevold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Gamst came out of the goal and William Bekkevold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Fredrikstad FK booed when Sølvguttene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Warholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, William Bekkevold took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pål Gamst to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 18 minutes, Martin Bjørn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sølvguttene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Bjørn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pål Gamst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Bekkevold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Fredrikstad FK's Elias Saastad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pål Gamst. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. In the 27th match minute, Sølvguttene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trym Hov to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Henrik Moen fired a really elegant long shot, but Pål Gamst threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Pål Gamst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikolaj Kiepski in the 30th minute. In the 36th match minute, Sølvguttene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Bjørn to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Fredrikstad FK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Stian Sætren hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, William Bekkevold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pål Gamst was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 45th minute, Tormod Bjørgo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pål Gamst. The goal made the score 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, William Bekkevold made a precise shot to the right of Pål Gamst. Sølvguttene's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 54 played minutes Sølvguttene got a freekick which was hit by Trym Hov. After a defensive mix-up in Sølvguttene's zone, Tormod Bjørgo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Gamst came out of the goal and Tormod Bjørgo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Sølvguttene's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Kiepski came free, but Pål Gamst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Bekkevold took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Gamst. Pål Gamst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Morten Haavik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Raymond Stordal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Fredrikstad FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stian Sætren to maneuver through the defense. Steinar Stein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Pål Gamst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sølvguttene defense, Tormod Bjørgo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pål Gamst. The Sølvguttene fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pål Gamst should have stopped the shot. Pål Gamst stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Bekkevold's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After 78 minutes of play, Fredrikstad FK's William Bekkevold made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Gamst was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mikolaj Kiepski took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Gamst. Pål Gamst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 86th minute, Tormod Bjørgo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pål Gamst was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Pål Gamst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Langli went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. William Bekkevold blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pål Gamst having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tormod Bjørgo in the 96th minute of play forced Sølvguttene's goalkeeper Pål Gamst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
