Spectators: 7969 (Terracing: 5978, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Finn-Christian Gjelsvik started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Helle in the 14th minute of play forced Vardaberg BK's goalkeeper Eskil Hoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Hans Helle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eskil Hoel. Hans Helle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Victor Mahmood ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stian Sundstrøm was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Vardaberg BK's zone, Christoffer Johanson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eskil Hoel came out of the goal and Christoffer Johanson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans Helle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Hoel having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Finn-Christian Gjelsvik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Vardaberg BK fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Vardaberg BK's Finn-Christian Gjelsvik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Finn-Christian Gjelsvik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 57 played minutes Vardaberg BK got a freekick which was hit by Victor Mahmood. With a little luck, Stangnes Youth Academy's Stian Sundstrøm got control of the ball when Victor Mahmood tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marius Langhelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Mahmood made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 78thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Stian Sundstrøm would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Christoffer Johanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christoffer Johanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eskil Hoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jørgen Naustdal during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Jørgen Naustdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Aandal kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Andreas Aandal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
