With an all-out effort, FK Grunnfjord's Frode Lyngås threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Finn-Christian Steinnes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 17 minutes, Ingvar Rosseland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blodskudt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Rosseland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Blodskudt's Frode Lyngås got control of the ball when Benjamin Dvergsdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Blodskudt's zone, Finn-Christian Steinnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frode Lyngås came out of the goal and Finn-Christian Steinnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jon Svendsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Nordrum in the 36th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Blodskudt's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Opsal came free, but Frode Lyngås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Linus Nordrum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Linus Nordrum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Lyngstad got free with Jon Svendsen in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blodskudt's Frode Lyngås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finn-Christian Steinnes in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to FK Grunnfjord getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tarjei Sleire hit a great ball. Linus Nordrum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tor-Andre Bjerkestrand during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frode Lyngås didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Grunnfjord. Tor-Andre Bjerkestrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Frode Lyngås tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the FK Grunnfjord players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
