Christoffer Johansons short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Runar Lund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Erlend Slettebø had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stian Sundstrøm. Stangnes Youth Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erlend Slettebø was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Engelsviken's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Helle came free, but Runar Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Adrian Nordlien put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Stian Sundstrøm. After 21 played minutes Stangnes Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Brage Bjørseth. In the 23rd minute of the match Engelsviken got a corner. Stangnes Youth Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eilert Moss ran over to the corner to take the kick. Engelsviken's Eilert Moss was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stian Sundstrøm in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Torstein Horntvedt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stian Sundstrøm having to make a save. With a little luck, Engelsviken's Runar Lund got control of the ball when Birger Strømsnes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Runar Lund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Johanson in the 30th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eilert Moss made the kick off in the second half. 0-3 became the score in the 52nd minute when Eilert Moss elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 55 minutes, Adrian Nordlien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Engelsviken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Nordlien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Stangnes Youth Academy's Stian Sundstrøm got control of the ball when Torstein Horntvedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Stangnes Youth Academy's Birger Strømsnes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Engelsviken's Runar Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Helle in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Johanson in the 72nd minute of play forced Engelsviken's goalkeeper Runar Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christoffer Johanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stian Sundstrøm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eilert Moss went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Erlend Slettebø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Engelsviken played a much better game than Stangnes Youth Academy and deserved their victory. The Stangnes Youth Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
