To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Teisen I.F's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Salberg came free, but Ken Stenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Kyrre Juul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teisen I.F's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyrre Juul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevin Gulliksen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kai Ottersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Torgeir Fagervold had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ken Stenberg. Teisen I.F's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torgeir Fagervold was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ken Stenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Salberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ken Stenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Salberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Torgeir Fagervold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Steen's late challenge caught a TRONDHEIM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joachim Salberg made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Teisen I.F's Kyrre Juul slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kai Ottersen. That made the score 1-2 after 55 minutes of play. If Kevin Gulliksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torgeir Fagervold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ken Stenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teisen I.F's Ken Stenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgeir Fagervold in the 71st minute of play. Ken Stenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tore-Andre Smeby in the 74th minute of the match. Ken Stenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgeir Fagervold, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Kai Ottersen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Steen in the 82nd minute. Teisen I.F were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
