Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Snorre Dalby ran back to his position shaking his head. Snorre Dalby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jon Svendsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Snorre Dalby struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jon Svendsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Low Expectations. Snorre Dalby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jon Svendsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tor-Andre Bjerkestrand kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Low Expectations getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jarle Betten hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Low Expectations's goal looked a bit too open when Finn-Christian Steinnes came free, but Raymond Frøland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joachim Opsal fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Grunnfjord's protests and gave Joachim Opsal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Low Expectations booed when FK Grunnfjord was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Opsal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jon Svendsen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Snorre Dalby showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. FK Grunnfjord's Jon Svendsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Snorre Dalby in the 36th minute of play. After 42 played minutes FK Grunnfjord got a freekick which was hit by Henning Grøterud. 43 minutes into the game, Snorre Dalby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Low Expectations's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Grunnfjord the free kick. After a rather tough play, Low Expectations's Snorre Dalby got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Jarle Betten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Finn-Christian Steinnes to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Snorre Dalby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Low Expectations's supporters rose to their feet, but Snorre Dalby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Svendsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Jarle Betten notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FK Grunnfjord's Jon Svendsen. Jon Svendsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjamin Dvergsdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Frøland having to interfere. A collision led to FK Grunnfjord getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Per-Kristian Lysne hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes FK Grunnfjord got a freekick which was hit by Tarjei Sleire. 81 minutes into the match, FK Grunnfjord's goal looked a bit too open when Snorre Dalby came free, but Jon Svendsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jarle Betten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Jarle Betten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Svendsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Low Expectations's goalkeeper Raymond Frøland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Dvergsdal.
