Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jonas Lilleng started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Fredrikstad FK's Ole-Johan Aalvik got a free kick in the 6th minute. Rune Rekdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torstein Horntvedt in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Engelsviken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Nordlien to maneuver through the defense. When Jonas Lilleng came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Fredrikstad FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Lilleng couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Olaf Aalvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Engelsviken's Adrian Nordlien slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rune Rekdal. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Lilleng in the 22nd minute of play forced Engelsviken's goalkeeper Runar Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Rekdal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erlend Slettebø in the 24th minute. Runar Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Lilleng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fredrikstad FK's Alexander Nesbø got a free kick in the 27th minute. Erlend Slettebø took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Rekdal. Rune Rekdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 35th minute, Ken Fossen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fredrikstad FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Fredrikstad FK's Rune Rekdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlend Slettebø in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Engelsviken defense, Ken Fossen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Runar Lund. The Engelsviken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Runar Lund should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Engelsviken's goalkeeper Runar Lund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Klæboe. In the 56th minute Torstein Horntvedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Rekdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Torstein Horntvedt notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Fredrikstad FK's Rune Rekdal. Rune Rekdal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the match, Fredrikstad FK's goal looked a bit too open when Eilert Moss came free, but Rune Rekdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredrikstad FK's Rune Rekdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torstein Horntvedt in the 67th minute of play. Adrian Nordlien kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Adrian Nordlien made a precise shot to the right of Rune Rekdal. Fredrikstad FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 86th minute Jonas Lilleng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Runar Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Kjetil Furseth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Engelsviken's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
