The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute, Frank Stein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ken Stenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Kyrre Juul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ken Stenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glenn Beck's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Teisen I.F's Aslak Jæger got a free kick in the 27th minute. Raymond Frøland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Gulliksen in the 32nd minute of the match. Teisen I.F's Ken Stenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Stein in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Glenn Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Low Expectations's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glenn Beck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Stein in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ken Stenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Stein was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Teisen I.F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Steen to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Teisen I.F's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Glenn Beck fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aksel Aksdal's late challenge caught a Low Expectations's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aksel Aksdal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Low Expectations booed when Teisen I.F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aksel Aksdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Gulliksen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raymond Frøland having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Low Expectations's Ruben Ottosen got a free kick in the 71st minute. Raymond Frøland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Gulliksen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 played minutes Low Expectations got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Ottosen. If Kevin Gulliksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Gulliksen charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Gulliksen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kevin Gulliksen hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Low Expectations's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
