The supporters of Valebjørg booed when Diavoli Rossoneri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Sødal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Kvello in the 13th minute of play forced Diavoli Rossoneri's goalkeeper Victor Moan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, Diavoli Rossoneri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Bjørnå to maneuver through the defense. Halvor Aronsen charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Halvor Aronsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Halvor Aronsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Valebjørg's Sven-Erik Molin got control of the ball when Elias Bjørnå tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Erik Molin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Valderhaug, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Sondre Tjelta hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Sven-Erik Molin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Valderhaug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Helge Davidsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Erik Molin. Valebjørg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Helge Davidsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Valebjørg's Sven-Erik Molin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Valebjørg from getting a goal against them. Ruben Kvello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Moan having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Ruben Kvello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valebjørg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Kvello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Pacheco to make the kick off. Sven-Erik Molin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Valderhaug in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Kvello in the 55th minute of play forced Diavoli Rossoneri's goalkeeper Victor Moan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Elias Bjørnå left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diavoli Rossoneri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With his leg Victor Moan managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Valebjørg's Antonio Pacheco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ruben Kvello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Erik Molin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Valderhaug's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Sven-Erik Molin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Bjørnå, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Kvello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Sødal struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Sven-Erik Molin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diavoli Rossoneri. Sven-Erik Molin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Valderhaug, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute Helge Davidsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Erik Molin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Ruben Kvello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valebjørg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Kvello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diavoli Rossoneri were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Valebjørg for a fine match.
