Åsmund Nordheim hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gräsklipparna's zone, Karl Torvund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halvard Tessem came out of the goal and Karl Torvund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27 minutes, Georg Torvund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gräsklipparna and the NikoluniToons FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gräsklipparna getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Georg Torvund hit a great ball. Halvard Tessem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Torvund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torbjørn Landsverk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjetil Grønbech having to interfere. Åsmund Nordheim charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åsmund Nordheim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
