Spectators: 8010 (Terracing: 6009, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) Karl Torvund started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kåre Ludviksen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Egil Bekkevold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kåre Ludviksen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Kjetil Grønbech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Fjørtoft hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes NikoluniToons FC got a freekick which was hit by Erik Fjørtoft. Egil Bekkevold's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Kjetil Grønbech skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Erik Rystad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Torvund in the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remi Haugsdal in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Rystad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atle Skarbø took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kjetil Grønbech. NikoluniToons FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Egil Bekkevold blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjetil Grønbech having to make a save. NikoluniToons FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Kåre Ludviksen scored to the left of an out of position Kjetil Grønbech, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Dæff FK's Egil Bjørke got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 33 played minutes NikoluniToons FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl Torvund. 35 minutes into the game, NikoluniToons FC's Jens Stephansen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Rystad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 38 minutes, Sivert Tandberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dæff FK and the NikoluniToons FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sivert Tandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Erik Rystad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Torvund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remi Haugsdal might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Rystad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remi Haugsdal ran back to his position shaking his head. Erik Rystad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Torvund in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kåre Ludviksen to make the kick off. Erik Rystad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Stephansen in the 51st minute of the match. Kåre Ludviksen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to NikoluniToons FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Erik Fjørtoft hit a great ball. Kåre Ludviksen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remi Haugsdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Rystad having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Kåre Ludviksen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kjetil Grønbech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Espen Normann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 73 minutes, Remi Haugsdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NikoluniToons FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remi Haugsdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kjetil Grønbech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Ludviksen in the 77th minute of the match. Remi Haugsdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Erik Rystad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dæff FK's goalkeeper Erik Rystad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Remi Haugsdal struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Erik Rystad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NikoluniToons FC. Erik Rystad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Torvund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the NikoluniToons FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dæff FK.
