After 2 minutes, Gualterio Eleder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lyn Oslo 1896 and the Midtun Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gualterio Eleder kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Lyn Oslo 1896's Trond Bragstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Westberg in the 3rd minute of play. When Bård Hem fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Midtun Fc's protests and gave Bård Hem a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Midtun Fc getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bård Hem hit a great ball. When Octav Stroia fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lyn Oslo 1896's protests and gave Octav Stroia a yellow card for diving instead. Trond Bragstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bård Hem in the 9th minute of the match. Roy Jama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Stroia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lyn Oslo 1896's Trond Bragstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bård Hem in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Bård Hem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Midtun Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 24 minutes into the game, Dennis Magnusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Trond Bragstad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Trond Bragstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Lyn Oslo 1896 defense, Bård Hem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trond Bragstad. The Lyn Oslo 1896 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trond Bragstad should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Octav Stroia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roy Jama. Octav Stroia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Trond Bragstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bård Hem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes Lyn Oslo 1896 got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Myran. 39 minutes into the match, Lyn Oslo 1896's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Magnusson came free, but Trond Bragstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Octav Stroia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualterio Eleder to make the kick off. Trond Bragstad came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Midtun Fc's Bård Hem. But to his dismay, Bård Hem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Trond Bragstad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bård Hem showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 56 minute of play. Trond Bragstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bård Hem went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Trond Bragstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Westberg in the 61st minute of the match. Frank Tveter kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Dennis Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lyn Oslo 1896 made a substitution. Håkon Haarstad replaced Andreas Jørstad. Trond Bragstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Westberg in the 69th minute of play. Edvard Myran's late challenge caught a Midtun Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvard Myran helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lyn Oslo 1896's Edvard Myran got a free kick in the 70th minute. Dennis Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trond Bragstad having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Johannes Westberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Trond Bragstad, 1-8. Lyn Oslo 1896's Edvard Ringvold was substituted for Edvard Myran. In the 84th minute Octav Stroia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Jama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Magnusson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Gualterio Eleder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Trond Bragstad successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Adrian Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Kalstad kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Frank Tveter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trond Bragstad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Midtun Fc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lyn Oslo 1896.
