John-Einar Astrup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Fiksdal having to interfere. Lars-Erik Fiksdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Ovesen in the 7th minute of play. With a little luck, Sommarsæte's Lars-Erik Fiksdal got control of the ball when John-Einar Astrup tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Sommarsæte's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Fiksdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John-Einar Astrup. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John-Einar Astrup in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars-Erik Fiksdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Kovlands IF booed when Sommarsæte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Bartnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sommarsæte defense, Ruben Sæterdal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars-Erik Fiksdal. The Sommarsæte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars-Erik Fiksdal should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Sommarsæte's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Ovesen came free, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars-Erik Fiksdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Sæterdal in the 23rd minute of play. Leonard Gregersen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match, Oddbjørn Haugli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 29 minutes into the match, Sommarsæte's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Fiksdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John-Einar Astrup. After 30 played minutes Kristian Ovesen rounded Sommarsæte's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Kovlands IF's zone, Henrik Espenes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Gregersen came out of the goal and Henrik Espenes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Ovesen in the 40th minute of play forced Sommarsæte's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Fiksdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars-Erik Fiksdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Sæterdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Kristian Ovesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kovlands IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0.
