In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kovlands IF's goalkeeper Leonard Gregersen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Gullstad SK's Martin Onofre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonard Gregersen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Gullstad SK's corner Finn-Christian Magerøy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leonard Gregersen quite easily take care of the ball. In the 30th minute Emanuel Herlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Gregersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Joost Roodenburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Herlea got free with Leonard Gregersen in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuel Herlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Leonard Gregersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Mircea Balint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Gregersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gullstad SK were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Kovlands IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Finn-Christian Magerøy took the corner. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gullstad SK reached it. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Herlea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Gregersen was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The tension between the Kovlands IF and the Gullstad SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gullstad SK were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Kovlands IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Finn-Christian Magerøy took the corner. Finn-Christian Magerøy made a great header on Gullstad SK's corner, it was just that Kovlands IF's Leonard Gregersen managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Herlea in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Gregersen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kovlands IF's Leonard Gregersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Joost Roodenburg in the 85th minute of play.
