Harald Rønningen made the kick off and thus started the match. Harald Rønningen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Eek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. John-Einar Astrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Emanuel Eek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harald Rønningen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Emanuel Eek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, John-Einar Astrup had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Eek. Guldholmen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John-Einar Astrup was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Guldholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Øyvind Hepsø to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Eek made an important save on a dangerous shot by John-Einar Astrup in the 12th minute. Leon Jenssen's late challenge caught a Guldholmen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Jenssen helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Kovlands IF got a freekick which was hit by Leon Jenssen. Guldholmen's Frode Mæhre managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nils-Arne Molvik in the 20 minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Guldholmen's goalkeeper Emanuel Eek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John-Einar Astrup. In the 23rd minute, Eskil Bentzen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Eek made an important save on a dangerous shot by John-Einar Astrup in the 25th minute. In the 38th minute, John-Einar Astrup reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuel Eek. The goal made the score 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Rønningen in the 45th minute of play forced Guldholmen's goalkeeper Emanuel Eek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when John-Einar Astrup got free with Emanuel Eek in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lasse Kvaløy to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Guldholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Rønningen came free, but Emanuel Eek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kovlands IF's John-Einar Astrup got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John-Einar Astrup in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Eek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lasse Kvaløy in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonard Gregersen saved Kovlands IF from getting behind. Leonard Gregersen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lasse Kvaløy in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Kovlands IF getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Oddbjørn Haugli hit a great ball. Eskil Bentzen charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eskil Bentzen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kovlands IF had played much better football throughout.
