An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Westberg in the 4th minute of play forced Porto's goalkeeper Kent Wahlstrøm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Midtun Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Preben Riis came free, but Roy Jama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludvik Lam's late challenge caught a Midtun Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludvik Lam helped the player get up and apologised. Ludvik Lam hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Westberg came free, but Kent Wahlstrøm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, Midtun Fc's Johannes Westberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kent Wahlstrøm was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Bård Hem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Wahlstrøm was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After 26 played minutes Porto got a freekick which was hit by Filip Vaksdal. Kent Wahlstrøm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Westberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Bård Hem put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kent Wahlstrøm. 40 minutes into the match, Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Westberg came free, but Kent Wahlstrøm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Wahlstrøm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Bø, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The Porto players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Midtun Fc were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Westberg to make the kick off. The supporters of Midtun Fc booed when Porto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Vaksdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joakim Reiten during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Porto getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Joakim Reiten hit a great ball. The corner led Midtun Fc's Frank Tveter to fire away a dangerous shot which Kent Wahlstrøm despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Johannes Westberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Porto's Kent Wahlstrøm got control of the ball when Bård Hem tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Jo Øvstebø fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kent Wahlstrøm, passed just outside the right post. 66 minutes into the match, Porto's goalkeeper Kent Wahlstrøm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bård Hem. Kent Wahlstrøm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Westberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Kent Wahlstrøm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Øvstebø in the 68th minute of play. Jo Øvstebø blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kent Wahlstrøm having to make a save. Kent Wahlstrøm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Westberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute of the match Midtun Fc got a corner. Porto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Tveter ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kent Wahlstrøm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Westberg in the 78th minute of the match. Jo Øvstebø might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kent Wahlstrøm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jo Øvstebø ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Johannes Westberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Porto's Kent Wahlstrøm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Porto from getting a goal against them. Kent Wahlstrøm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Westberg in the 83rd minute of play. Johannes Westberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Westberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Wahlstrøm having to interfere. Johannes Westberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Johannes Westberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Midtun Fc played a much better game than Porto and deserved their victory. The Porto players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
