Daniel Wilhelmsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tebaldo Zaldo having to interfere. Inge Ryeng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Osen in the 30th minute of play. When Edgard Bjerkestrand, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tebaldo Zaldo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Nils Nordgaard made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pepega FK's Johannes Tangen. If Edgard Bjerkestrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Bent Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Ryeng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Bjerkestrand stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Alvarez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pepega FK's Inge Ryeng. Inge Ryeng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute, Kristian Håland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Runar Solstad hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The Arsenal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arsenal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
