Erik Røren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kenneth Tangen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 15th minute Mads Leirdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Ryeng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inge Ryeng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mads Leirdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Mads Leirdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Inge Ryeng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Røren made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Asle Koppang sent off a good shot on target. Erik Røren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Bjerkestrand in the 26th minute. Adrian Arnesen hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Kenneth Tangen hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. In the 31st minute, Arna's Adrian Arnesen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adrian Arnesen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adrian Arnesen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Edgard Bjerkestrand received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Røren came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgard Bjerkestrand slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. Edgard Bjerkestrand did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Erik Røren 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Mads Leirdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Ryeng having to interfere. Asle Koppang struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Erik Røren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pepega FK. After a rather tough play, Pepega FK's Kenneth Tangen got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Mads Leirdal charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mads Leirdal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pepega FK fully deserved thier win.
