Raymond Silden charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raymond Silden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sommernes FK's Óscar Cordoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Sommernes FK from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the game, Vebjørn Bjørnstad recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Óscar Cordoba. Sommernes FK's Óscar Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Hrebenciuc in the 55th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Maria Mena players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
