Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Frengen's Christian Molnes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sommernes FK's Óscar Cordoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Sommernes FK from getting a goal against them. Christian Molnes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Óscar Cordoba came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Molnes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Raul Esiquio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Øivind Storebø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Øivind Storebø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åsmund Myhra in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Morten Gunnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 15 minutes, Raymond Silden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sommernes FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raymond Silden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 minutes, Morten Gunnes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frengen and the Sommernes FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Morten Gunnes kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Silden in the 30th minute of play forced Frengen's goalkeeper Øivind Storebø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Øivind Storebø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Silden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sommernes FK's Åsmund Myhra got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Christian Molnes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Óscar Cordoba, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raymond Silden was the one to do the kick off. Óscar Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Molnes in the 54th minute of the match. Raul Esiquio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Øivind Storebø made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raymond Silden got free with Øivind Storebø in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Torgeir Vangsnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frengen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Óscar Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morten Gunnes in the 70th minute of play. Frengen's Øivind Storebø proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Frengen from getting a goal against them. Raul Esiquio struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Øivind Storebø didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sommernes FK. 80 minutes into the game, Stig-Inge Eide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frengen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sommernes FK the free kick. After 80 played minutes Frengen got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Inge Eide. 81 minutes into the match, Frengen's goalkeeper Øivind Storebø had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raymond Silden. Torgeir Vangsnes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Óscar Cordoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Óscar Cordoba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Molnes went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Frengen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
