Are Røberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Morten Tømmervik's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Martin Kjelstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barney Mayall in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barney Mayall in the 42nd minute of play forced Club Real Cochabamba's goalkeeper Martin Kjelstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Roald Førre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Birger Klette left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trabzonspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barney Mayall was the one to do the kick off. Birger Klette showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Trabzonspor's Are Røberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Tømmervik in the 60th minute of play. Club Real Cochabamba's Severin Storås got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Are Røberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morten Tømmervik in the 66th minute of play. Martin Kjelstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Klette in the 68th minute of the match. Martin Kjelstad made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Anders Hjørnevik sent off a good shot on target. Martin Kjelstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barney Mayall in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Birger Klette could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Martin Kjelstad however easily saved by the left post. A hard shot 73 in the game by Barney Mayall from a close distance when the talented Martin Kjelstad managed to make a qualified save. Club Real Cochabamba's players were relieved. 79 minutes into the match, Club Real Cochabamba's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Klette came free, but Martin Kjelstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Barney Mayall notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Club Real Cochabamba's Martin Kjelstad. Martin Kjelstad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martin Kjelstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyrre Nekstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the match was over Trabzonspor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Real Cochabamba throughout the match.
