Mons Mahmood kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ku Kost IL's Casper Olsnes got a free kick in the 5th minute. Christian Høie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Jaen having to interfere. A hard shot 13 in the game by Casper Olsnes from a close distance when the talented Justo Jaen managed to make a qualified save. SUDEL's players were relieved. In the 18th minute Christian Høie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Ku Kost IL's goal looked a bit too open when Mons Mahmood came free, but Torstein Hovden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mons Mahmood in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torstein Hovden saved Ku Kost IL from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Fredrik Rassen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ku Kost IL's Torstein Hovden. Torstein Hovden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fredrik Rassen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Torstein Hovden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Mikkel Sikveland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Mons Mahmood made a precise shot to the right of Torstein Hovden. Ku Kost IL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The corner ended in Christian Høie almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SUDEL's Justo Jaen did a great save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mons Mahmood stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Torstein Hovden was a little too slow when Ove Gjøen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 62nd minute of the match, Mons Mahmood tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Torstein Hovden saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Høie in the 70th minute of play forced SUDEL's goalkeeper Justo Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ku Kost IL booed when SUDEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Skorstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mons Mahmood came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SUDEL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mons Mahmood couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the game, Sebastian Skorstad recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Torstein Hovden. Sebastian Skorstad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The audience was convinced that Mons Mahmood's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torstein Hovden was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Justo Jaen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Olsnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Ku Kost IL's goalkeeper Torstein Hovden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ove Gjøen. 93 minutes into the match, SUDEL's goal looked a bit too open when Casper Olsnes came free, but Justo Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SUDEL played a much better game than Ku Kost IL and deserved their victory. The Ku Kost IL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
