In the 7th minute Ove Tøsse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Askvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Gunners's Julian Askvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Tøsse in the 8th minute of play. Didrik Bjørkmo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Didrik Bjørkmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Lakrisal booed when FC Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didrik Bjørkmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Askvik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ove Tøsse's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the FC Gunners defense, Constantino Estebe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Askvik. The FC Gunners fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Askvik should have stopped the shot. When Josef Brænd fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gunners's protests and gave Josef Brænd a yellow card for diving instead. Josef Brænd hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ove Tøsse made a kick off. Julian Askvik didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Julian Askvik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herrmann Körtge in the 55th minute. Herrmann Körtge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Askvik having to interfere. Julian Askvik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Herrmann Körtge showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 59 minute of play. Asmund Kråkenes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ove Tøsse was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. FC Lakrisal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Nils Rossebø came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Rossebø couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, FC Gunners's goalkeeper Julian Askvik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herrmann Körtge. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Tøsse in the 67th minute of play forced FC Gunners's goalkeeper Julian Askvik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Askvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herrmann Körtge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, FC Gunners's Julian Askvik got control of the ball when Constantino Estebe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Andreas Haugseth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Nils Rossebø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludvig Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, FC Lakrisal's Herrmann Körtge ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julian Askvik. Julian Askvik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After a rather tough play, FC Lakrisal's Aziz Beşer got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes FC Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Haugseth. Constantino Estebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreas Haugseth, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Constantino Estebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Julian Askvik made a huge save. Julian Askvik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantino Estebe in the 91st minute. Herrmann Körtge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Lakrisal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
