In the 11th minute, Thorbjørn Singstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MCFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Eric Langen hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Trygve Sjøgren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erik Dalheim. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Erik Dalheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trygve Sjøgren in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MCFC's zone, Hans-Kristian Caspersen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Dalheim came out of the goal and Hans-Kristian Caspersen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trygve Sjøgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Dalheim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trygve Sjøgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Erik Dalheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Torbjørnsen in the 34th minute of the match. Tore Vonheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Langen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Brede Ørmen made a precise shot to the right of Erik Dalheim. MCFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Erik Dalheim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johan Torbjørnsen went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Erik Dalheim made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Hans-Kristian Caspersen sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jon-Egil Nerhus made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Torbjørnsen in the 51st minute of play forced MCFC's goalkeeper Erik Dalheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans-Kristian Caspersen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Dalheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trygve Sjøgren in the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Bruvoll Grønn FK's goal looked a bit too open when Jon-Egil Nerhus came free, but Tore Vonheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruvoll Grønn FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Torbjørnsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bruvoll Grønn FK fully deserved thier win.
