Erik Dalheim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Martin Fossheim made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eric Stav immediately put the ball in play. Erik Dalheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Stav, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Martin Rygg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Dalheim having to interfere. Eric Stav sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, MCFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon-Egil Nerhus to maneuver through the defense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jon-Egil Nerhus to strike the kick off in the second half. Mons Søberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arild Markussen in the 53rd minute of the match. Eric Stav could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Erik Dalheim made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arild Markussen in the 58th minute of play forced Torp IF's goalkeeper Mons Søberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torp IF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
