The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trym Nyquist during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Tysfjord FK got a freekick which was hit by Trym Nyquist. In the 12th match minute, Deknepollen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Skjolden to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Alexander Hauan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Børresen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Deknepollen's Mathias Tufte in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tysfjord FK's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Hauan got free with Inge Børresen in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Idar Nervik hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Johannes Skare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John-Edvin Valberg hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd play minute Alexander Hauan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Inge Børresen. 1-0. In the 36th minute, Mathias Tufte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deknepollen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jimmy Tufte scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simen Sønsteby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Deknepollen's Asbjørn Smeland quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christian Holum, made in the 42nd minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, Mathias Tufte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Simen Sønsteby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven Martens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sten Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simen Sønsteby having to interfere. Ragnar Skjolden's late challenge caught a Tysfjord FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ragnar Skjolden helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Deknepollen got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Skjolden. Simen Sønsteby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Hård's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 60th match minute, Deknepollen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Aasberg to maneuver through the defense. 1-4 became the score in the 65th minute when Mathias Tufte elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Inge Børresen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Hauan in the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Deknepollen booed when Tysfjord FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Skare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pius Decorvet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inge Børresen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Martens, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 88 minutes into the match, Deknepollen's Sten Hård sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simen Sønsteby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simen Sønsteby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias Tufte in the 89th minute. Trym Nyquist kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Alexander Hauan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Børresen having to interfere. The Tysfjord FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deknepollen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
