Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tor-Kristian Eidem started the match with the kick off. Sivert Wennevold scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sivert Espeseth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the game, Thomas Østlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holstad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lokomotiv Såta the free kick. A collision led to Holstad getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Thomas Østlund hit a great ball. Holstad's Sivert Espeseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor-Kristian Eidem in the 12th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Holstad got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Skjerven. The crowd rose to their feet as Lokomotiv Såta's Sivert Wennevold slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sivert Espeseth. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Sturle Theodorsen kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Holstad's Sivert Espeseth got control of the ball when Sivert Wennevold tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sivert Espeseth stood somewhat misplaced when Tor-Kristian Eidem came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. Holstad's Sivert Espeseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor-Kristian Eidem in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes, Harald Ekelund made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lokomotiv Såta's Jim Slyngstad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Holstad's Harald Ekelund got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holstad's Sivert Espeseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor-Kristian Eidem in the 40th minute of play. Harald Ekelund struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jim Slyngstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holstad. Sivert Espeseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor-Kristian Eidem in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harald Ekelund made a kick off. Sivert Espeseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor-Kristian Eidem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Harald Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Slyngstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sivert Espeseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Stormo in the 60th minute of the match. Kjartan Grøterud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jim Slyngstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjartan Grøterud struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jim Slyngstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holstad. Holstad's Sivert Espeseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Stormo in the 69th minute of play. Sivert Espeseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Stormo in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Holstad's Harald Ekelund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. If Harald Ekelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Holstad's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Stormo came free, but Sivert Espeseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Justad in the 87th minute of play forced Holstad's goalkeeper Sivert Espeseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Såta's goalkeeper Jim Slyngstad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harald Ekelund. Holstad's Sivert Espeseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Stormo in the 90th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Dan Stormo in the 90th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 94th match minute, Holstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Østlund to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Holstad players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lokomotiv Såta.
