The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Hauan got free with Trond Sandum in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Alexander Hauan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tysfjord FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 39th minute Sven Martens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trond Sandum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trond Sandum made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Christian Holum sent off a good shot on target. Aslak Singstad charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aslak Singstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Trym Nyquist scored 2-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trond Sandum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Trond Sandum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trym Nyquist in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Tysfjord FK got a freekick which was hit by John-Edvin Valberg. With a little luck, Tysfjord FK's Simen Sønsteby got control of the ball when Svein Evjen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, John-Edvin Valberg made a precise shot to the right of Trond Sandum. Kilen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Trond Sandum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Martens in the 62nd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Sven Martens notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Kilen's Trond Sandum. Trond Sandum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kasper Fuglerud took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simen Sønsteby. Simen Sønsteby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Kilen's Trond Sandum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Edvin Valberg in the 86th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Kasper Steinsland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kilen and the Tysfjord FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kasper Steinsland hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. John-Edvin Valberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trond Sandum having to interfere.
