Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Trond Sandum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Ekelund in the 18th minute of play forced Kilen's goalkeeper Trond Sandum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Harald Ekelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Lægreid might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sivert Espeseth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Lægreid ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Holstad's Thomas Østlund got a free kick in the 26th minute. With an all-out effort, Kilen's Sivert Espeseth threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fredrik Lægreid, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Holstad's Sivert Espeseth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Holstad from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute of the match Sturle Theodorsen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trond Sandum showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Kilen's Kasper Steinsland got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Linus Naustdal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sivert Espeseth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fredrik Lægreid showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredrik Lægreid to strike the kick off in the second half. Kilen's Trond Sandum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Ekelund in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Jim Svingen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harald Ekelunds short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Trond Sandum to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Ekelund in the 93rd minute of play forced Kilen's goalkeeper Trond Sandum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Kilen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Holstad's performance. The match ended with a win for Holstad.
