Pius Decorvet was slow to take the kick. During this time Årås's players had a chance to rest. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Mathias Tufte sped through Lokomotiv Såta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jim Slyngstad. Lokomotiv Såta's Jim Slyngstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Hård in the 87th minute of play. Sten Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Slyngstad having to interfere. Årås's Mathias Tufte got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Årås's Jim Slyngstad threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jimmy Tufte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
