When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jørund Hovde made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Jørund Hovde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Inge Børresen. Jørund Hovde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The supporters of Årås booed when HanKan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jørund Hovde didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Årås's Mathias Tufte in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Inge Børresen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jørund Hovde in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, Årås's Inge Børresen got control of the ball when Per-Kristian Arneberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christoffer Trulsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inge Børresen was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
