The audience was convinced that Ådne Søndenå's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Søren Vigre was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. When Arve Krogstad came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the AC Undertakers fans jumped to their feet. When Johan Låstad came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Puma IL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Låstad couldn't finish the play. Puma IL's Thomas Haraldstad got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Szczepan Kaczor fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of John-Einar Jønsson, passed just outside the right post. AC Undertakers's Szczepan Kaczor got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Szczepan Kaczor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Arve Krogstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Undertakers's supporters rose to their feet, but Arve Krogstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John-Einar Jønsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Szczepan Kaczor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. John-Einar Jønsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johan Låstad to strike the kick off in the second half. John-Einar Jønsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arve Krogstad in the 54th minute of play. Puma IL's John-Einar Jønsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Kaczor in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Arve Krogstad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John-Einar Jønsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Puma IL getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Tor-Ivar Lunde hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Wojciech Pyrtek managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Undertakers's supporters rose to their feet, but Wojciech Pyrtek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John-Einar Jønsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 minutes, Johan Låstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puma IL and the AC Undertakers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Johan Låstad hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Puma IL defense, Szczepan Kaczor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John-Einar Jønsson. The Puma IL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John-Einar Jønsson should have stopped the shot. When Szczepan Kaczor came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the AC Undertakers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Szczepan Kaczor couldn't finish the play. John-Einar Jønsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arve Krogstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gabriel Rabben hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. It was joyful for the audience to see Ådne Søndenå dribbling past the opponents defense line in the 96th played minute and put the ball into the net. 2-1. There was no doubt that AC Undertakers were the better team. AC Undertakers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
