The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bårjåsnjárgga's goalkeeper Christer Larsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Ivar Severinsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulf-Hendrik Skjong went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sannes's Jan-Ivar Severinsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Millard in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Oscar Myr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jon-Inge Vea's late challenge caught a Bårjåsnjárgga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jon-Inge Vea helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Sannes got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Inge Vea. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Myr made a kick off. Jan-Ivar Severinsen came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Bårjåsnjárgga's Lucas Millard. But to his dismay, Lucas Millard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Sannes's Jan-Ivar Severinsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Sannes from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Bårjåsnjárgga booed when Sannes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Sangolt didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf-Hendrik Skjong in the 94th minute of play forced Sannes's goalkeeper Jan-Ivar Severinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sannes's Jan-Ivar Severinsen got control of the ball when Lucas Millard tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 97 played minutes Bårjåsnjárgga got a freekick which was hit by Erlend Sakariassen. Bårjåsnjárgga played a much better game than Sannes and deserved their victory. The Sannes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
