Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zé Pedro Lopez made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes Nykvaag got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Justad. Ubaldo Frantzes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torjus Hol having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ubaldo Frantzes during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hukdal booed when Nykvaag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Odin Leikanger notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Nykvaag's Bastien Kennel. Bastien Kennel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Torjus Hol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Frantzes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bastien Kennel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor-Ivar Omdal in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Ubaldo Frantzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torjus Hol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torjus Hol came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Nykvaag's Lucio Ishmael. But to his dismay, Lucio Ishmael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Odin Leikanger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Bastien Kennel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Odin Leikanger was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Abraham Borge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nykvaag's Bastien Kennel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Rødsjø in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nykvaag's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan-Arne Aronsen was slow to take the kick. During this time Hukdal's players had a chance to rest. Hukdal's Jan-Arne Aronsen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bastien Kennel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bastien Kennel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odin Leikanger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Nykvaag's zone, Odin Leikanger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastien Kennel came out of the goal and Odin Leikanger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Pedro Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odin Leikanger in the 92nd minute of play forced Nykvaag's goalkeeper Bastien Kennel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
