Spectators: 7800 (Terracing: 5925, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yngvar Øvrum started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Curtis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngvar Øvrum to maneuver through the defense. Tage Smestad had great luck who in the 3rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Jakob Bartnes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Yngvar Øvrum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mao Jun Xu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngvar Øvrum in the 11th minute of the match. Tage Smestad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakob Bartnes went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Byggda IL's Roar Gjelsvik ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tage Smestad. Tage Smestad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Arnstein Worren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Byggda IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnstein Worren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tage Smestad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jakob Bartnes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tage Smestad firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 34 minutes of play, Byggda IL's Jakob Bartnes made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tage Smestad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tage Smestad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Bartnes in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Curtis United getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Philip Kvilhaug hit a great ball. A collision led to Byggda IL getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tage Smestad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Bartnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Curtis United's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Bartnes came free, but Tage Smestad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tage Smestad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Bartnes in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Jakob Bartnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Byggda IL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 61 minutes into the match, Byggda IL's Arnstein Worren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tage Smestad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Philip Kvilhaug was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curtis United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Byggda IL the free kick. Tage Smestad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Bartnes in the 68th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Jakob Bartnes made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Curtis United's Tage Smestad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakob Bartnes in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tage Smestad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnstein Worren struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Tage Smestad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Byggda IL. 79 minutes into the match, Curtis United's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Bartnes came free, but Tage Smestad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakob Bartnes in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tage Smestad saved Curtis United from getting behind. Tage Smestad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Bartnes in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Byggda IL's goalkeeper Mao Jun Xu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Yngvar Øvrum fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curtis United's protests and gave Yngvar Øvrum a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee ended the match the Byggda IL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
