When Hans-Martin Torvund came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Rock Hard FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Martin Torvund couldn't finish the play. Mikkel Lilleland hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Kenneth Drange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Hojem, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 6th minute, Sigve Ramberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Christian Hojem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Drange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, FC Pladask's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigve Ramberg. In the 17th match minute, FC Pladask was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim-André Nybakken to maneuver through the defense. Hans-Martin Torvund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torjus Solvoll having to make a save. Sigve Ramberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torjus Solvoll. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sigve Ramberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Rock Hard FC's Kenneth Drange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Hojem in the 23rd minute of play. Mikkel Lilleland hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Hans-Martin Torvund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torjus Solvoll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Hojem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kenneth Drange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Rock Hard FC got a freekick which was hit by Tage Øye. A collision led to Rock Hard FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mikkel Lilleland hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Christian Hojem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Drange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Hojem in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenneth Drange prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd match minute, Rock Hard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikkel Lilleland to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Hans-Martin Torvund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torjus Solvoll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Hojem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Pladask booed when Rock Hard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Øye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans-Martin Torvund in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Torjus Solvoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Martin Torvund in the 76th minute of play. Torjus Solvoll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sigve Ramberg's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Rock Hard FC's Tage Øye got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Rock Hard FC's Kenneth Drange got control of the ball when Cayetano Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torjus Solvoll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eilert Totland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torjus Solvoll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sigve Ramberg's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Martin Torvund in the 95th minute of play forced FC Pladask's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
