Arty Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. William Sommerseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Torstein Solli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Nekstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Sagene IF's William Sommerseth got control of the ball when Arty Benson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arty Benson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but William Sommerseth made a huge save. After 21 played minutes Kåsmolia got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Andersen. Arty Benson came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and William Sommerseth could save by the left post. 28 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goalkeeper William Sommerseth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arty Benson. With a little luck, Sagene IF's William Sommerseth got control of the ball when Raimundas Genčiauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kåsmolia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kenneth Sommerseth in the 32nd minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Hans-Kristian Aanes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kåsmolia's Lars Nekstad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, William Knutsen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kåsmolia's Lars Nekstad. Lars Nekstad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars Nekstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torstein Solli in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th minute Kåsmolia were awarded a corner. Kenneth Sommerseth went to the cornerflag to take it. Kåsmolia's Kenneth Andersen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but William Sommerseth in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans-Kristian Aanes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lars Nekstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torstein Solli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Kåre Breistein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Sommerseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Knutsen in the 61st minute of play forced Kåsmolia's goalkeeper Lars Nekstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Kåsmolia got a freekick which was hit by Tore Irgens. Kåsmolia's Lars Nekstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Kristian Aanes in the 66th minute of play. Kåsmolia's Lars Nekstad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Kåsmolia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Kristian Aanes in the 77th minute of play forced Kåsmolia's goalkeeper Lars Nekstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth Sommerseth ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 95th match minute, Kåsmolia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Sommerseth to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Sagene IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kåsmolia.
