When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Jimeno Acevedo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pål Idsø. If Jimeno Acevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Raagrend FK's Erik Husa got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 8th match minute, Raagrend FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Kristian Baardsen to maneuver through the defense. Pål Idsø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Acevedo in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Acevedo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pål Idsø saved Raagrend FK from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Jimeno Acevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pål Idsø was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. PERSIA FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Raagrend FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Alagoano took the corner. Grim Torkildsen was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pål Idsø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, PERSIA FC's Jimeno Acevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pål Idsø made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Pål Idsø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torvald Halvorsen in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Raagrend FK's Erik Husa got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Torvald Halvorsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pål Idsø was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 36th minute Torvald Halvorsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Idsø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Jimeno Acevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Pål Idsø was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to PERSIA FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Durval Salles hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, PERSIA FC's Jimeno Acevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pål Idsø narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half PERSIA FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Acevedo to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, PERSIA FC's Torvald Halvorsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pål Idsø made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 54th minute of the match Durval Salles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pål Idsø showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvio Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Pål Idsø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PERSIA FC were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Raagrend FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Alagoano took the corner. After taking down the ball on PERSIA FC's corner Jimeno Acevedo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pål Idsø quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Torvald Halvorsen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pål Idsø. That made the score 0-6 in the 69 minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Jimeno Acevedo lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Pål Idsø. Pål Idsø made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Jimeno Acevedo sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, PERSIA FC's Arild Omholt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pål Idsø narrowly saved just below the crossbar. PERSIA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José Alagoano in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Silvio Gaizkine reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pål Idsø. The goal made the score 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torvald Halvorsen in the 87th minute of play forced Raagrend FK's goalkeeper Pål Idsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pål Idsø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Acevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Raagrend FK booed when PERSIA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carl Haveland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steinar Bentzen's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded PERSIA FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Raagrend FK.
