Spectators: 9165 (Terracing: 6875, Seating: 2108, VIP seats: 182) Kåsmolia's Kåre Breistein started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pål Idsø made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Kåre Breistein sent off a good shot on target. Raimundas Genčiauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Kåre Breistein struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Pål Idsø didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kåsmolia. Rune Muggerud received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pål Idsø came out and tried to block the shot, but Rune Muggerud slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Kåre Breistein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Pål Idsø made a huge save. Arty Benson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pål Idsø firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raagrend FK's goalkeeper Pål Idsø, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Raagrend FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kenneth Sommerseth was slow to take the kick. During this time Kåsmolia's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Kenneth Sommerseth almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Raagrend FK's Pål Idsø did a great save. After 23 minutes, Per-Kristian Baardsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raagrend FK and the Kåsmolia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Raagrend FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Kristian Baardsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Raagrend FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rune Muggerud fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arty Benson got free with Pål Idsø in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raagrend FK's Pål Idsø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Muggerud in the 27th minute of play. Pål Idsø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tore Irgens in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Rune Muggerud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Idsø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Kåsmolia's Kåre Breistein made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Idsø was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raagrend FK's Pål Idsø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Muggerud in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arty Benson got free with Pål Idsø in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kåsmolia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kenneth Sommerseth in the 40th minute. After taking down the ball on Kåsmolia's corner Kenneth Sommerseth fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pål Idsø quite easily take care of the ball. Kåsmolia's Kenneth Sommerseth spiked a well placed long shot which went just inside the left pole, with no chance at all for Pål Idsø. Resulting in a 3-0 score after 40 minutes. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rune Muggerud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kåsmolia's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Muggerud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Idsø breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pål Idsø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Muggerud in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steinar Bentzen to make the kick off. Rune Muggerud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pål Idsø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arty Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Breistein in the 59th minute of play forced Raagrend FK's goalkeeper Pål Idsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Raagrend FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Andersen came free, but Pål Idsø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arty Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Idsø having to interfere. In the 65th minute Rune Muggerud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Idsø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Rune Muggerud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pål Idsø was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Rune Muggerud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Kåsmolia's Kåre Breistein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pål Idsø made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When Kåsmolia's Kåre Breistein in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Raagrend FK's goalie prevented a goal. When Rune Muggerud came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Kåsmolia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Muggerud couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Arty Benson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Idsø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kåsmolia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
