When Josef Landsem came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Raagrend FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Landsem couldn't finish the play. In the last second Pål Idsø throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jo Reitan in the 6thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 7 played minutes Raagrend FK got a freekick which was hit by Per-Kristian Baardsen. The nice shot from Storm Furu in the 11thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Pål Idsø had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Daniel Farstad might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pål Idsø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Farstad ran back to his position shaking his head. Josef Landsem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Naustdal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Kirkenær BF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Raymond Norum hit a great ball. Tor-Kristian Høyland kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Raagrend FK booed when Kirkenær BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Løvlie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Raagrend FK's zone, Jo Reitan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Idsø came out of the goal and Jo Reitan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Raagrend FK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Øivind Alvær hit a great ball. Raagrend FK's Pål Idsø proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Raagrend FK from getting a goal against them. Jo Reitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pål Idsø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Raagrend FK's Pål Idsø got control of the ball when Daniel Farstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pål Idsø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Storm Furu in the 28th minute of play. Tor-Kristian Høyland was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Kirkenær BF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steinar Bentzen in the 32nd minute of play forced Kirkenær BF's goalkeeper Jonas Naustdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Pål Idsø successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Kirkenær BF's zone, Steinar Bentzen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Naustdal came out of the goal and Steinar Bentzen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jo Reitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raagrend FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Storm Furu 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Daniel Farstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Idsø having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Kirkenær BF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jo Reitan hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Storm Furu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pål Idsø. Raagrend FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Storm Furu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 62nd minute, Daniel Farstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Daniel Farstad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirkenær BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Farstad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Farstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, Raagrend FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor-Egil Smedstad to maneuver through the defense. After 68 minutes of play, Kirkenær BF's Daniel Farstad made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Idsø was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Storm Furu in the 72nd minute of play forced Raagrend FK's goalkeeper Pål Idsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Farstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raagrend FK's Pål Idsø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Omland in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Farstad in the 88th minute of play forced Raagrend FK's goalkeeper Pål Idsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jo Reitan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirkenær BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jo Reitan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Idsø breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kirkenær BF fully deserved thier win.
