Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gard Bredesen started the match with the kick off. When Bakarvågen's Jonathan Løvland in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 41st match minute, POPODARA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kryspin Mazierski to maneuver through the defense. Christoffer Hernes struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Thomas Revheim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bakarvågen. After a defensive mix-up in Bakarvågen's zone, Bendik Bekken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jøran Ek came out of the goal and Bendik Bekken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Bakarvågen's goalkeeper Jøran Ek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ådne Svensen. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jonathan Løvland made the kick off in the second half.
