Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jon-Erik Vedøy to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Cheeky Nuts United got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Ramberg. Elton John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Preben Simonsen in the 54th minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Preben Simonsen notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Cheeky Nuts United's Elton John. Elton John was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the game, Jon-Erik Vedøy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Thanks to some nice moves Armas Heinola could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Per-Kristian Andvik however easily saved by the left post. Cheeky Nuts United's Birger Øvstebø was substituted for Sebastian Ramberg. 73 minutes into the game, Doctor Potass was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheeky Nuts United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RotløsFotball IL the free kick. The supporters of RotløsFotball IL booed when Cheeky Nuts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doctor Potass didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elton John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Runar Helliesen in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, RotløsFotball IL's goalkeeper Per-Kristian Andvik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Øvstebø. In the 79th minute Doctor Potass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Kristian Andvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute Preben Simonsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elton John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Doctor Potass hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cheeky Nuts United's Elton John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Runar Helliesen in the 82nd minute of play. Tarjei Åkre hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Birger Øvstebø took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Kristian Andvik. Per-Kristian Andvik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. RotløsFotball IL's Per-Kristian Andvik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save RotløsFotball IL from getting a goal against them. Tarjei Åkre kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, RotløsFotball IL's goal looked a bit too open when Jon-Erik Vedøy came free, but Per-Kristian Andvik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Kristian Andvik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doctor Potass in the 97th minute of play. The RotløsFotball IL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cheeky Nuts United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
