Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sjef Nieuwburg in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kees Kluivert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karel Mathijsen in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kees Kluivert saved Echterbosch RKSV from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Sjef Nieuwburg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kees Kluivert was relentless in the 68th minute of the game.
