Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Denny Korsma kicked off to start the match. Koen Beukers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Korsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Pepping charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roy Pepping the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Horn getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Roy Pepping hit a great ball. After 20 minutes of play, Horn's Douwe Tamminga made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hette Weerman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hette Weerman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douwe Tamminga in the 40th minute. The audience was convinced that Dennis Bender's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hette Weerman was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Horn's Douwe Tamminga got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis Bender to strike the kick off in the second half. If Denny Korsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Denny Korsma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horn's Koen Beukers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Jelle Heck came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Horn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jelle Heck couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Driehuis's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Bender came free, but Hette Weerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Driehuis's goal looked a bit too open when Douwe Tamminga came free, but Hette Weerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denny Korsma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ger Höhenstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Ger Höhenstein took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Koen Beukers to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Dennis Bender managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horn's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Bender was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hette Weerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hette Weerman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douwe Tamminga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Driehuis's Hendrik-Jan Bults got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Driehuis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
