Harold Sandbergen tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jens Onrust. Katwoude FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Koos Roeters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Onrust breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Wagenberg SV's zone, Willem de Jager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Onrust came out of the goal and Willem de Jager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Roelof Tamminga fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Katwoude FC's protests and gave Roelof Tamminga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Katwoude FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Roelof Tamminga hit a great ball. Laurens Veens short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Vincent Hateboer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Laurens Veen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Vincent Hateboer made a huge save. Laurens Veen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Katwoude FC's Vincent Hateboer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Schreuder in the 81st minute of play.
